Freshwater Staff James A. Johnson, M.S. Aquatic Ecologist James founded Freshwater Scientific Services in 2003, but has been researching and managing lakes throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota for over 15 years. His specialties include aquatic plant management, urban stormwater monitoring, computer model development, lake sediment sampling, and carp exclosure studies. Education: M.S.
