  Resumé (CV)

Certified Lake Manager           Lake Service Provider  MN Lake Service Provider
Lakes have been a central part of my life since I was very young. Looking back, it's now obvious that all of the time I spent canoeing with my father, casting a bait out into the early-morning fog off of my grandparents' dock, and snorkeling in the cold clear water of Lake Superior instilled in me a love for lakes. Since then, this love has developed into a full-blown obsession.

I began my professional work researching and managing lakes right after graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 1995.
I spent the next 10 years learning from great mentors and lake researchers, but I found that the work I enjoyed most was sitting down with every-day people to help them protect and improve the lakes they loved. I founded Freshwater Scientific Services in 2003 to get back to working with these passionate lakeshore homeowners and lake groups... and I've never looked back.
